One day workshop addressing emerging concepts, techniques and strategies in sustainable transport planning and the urban design disciplines.

The program provides material at the forefront of the new transit planning principles and implementation needs emerging from recent key planning policies and frameworks.

The course provides a discussion-based grounding for effective decision-making and project delivery and to engage with the major policy changes and challenges now shaping your region.

Course details

There are no pre-requisites for attending this course. Practical worked examples and case studies will form part of the course. The approach to teaching and learning aims to provide a balance of approaches, taking into account different learning styles. The short course has been designed as a combination of provided written and visual reference material, presentations, interactive discussion sessions and case studies to illustrate application of concepts, and group exercises to reflect on and apply what has been learned. Bringing together a diverse group of participants enables interaction from a variety of perspectives and experience.
